Records for Sweden
These are current rankings among the stations reporting to us, not records. They change through the day. This is the most extreme figure we have observed since we started storing readings, not an official record.

What is the lowest temperature ever recorded in Sweden?
−42.4°C at Lycksele Arpt, on 28 January 1999, the lowest in the archives we hold for Sweden. The same caveat applies: it is the deepest figure in our archives rather than a certified national record.
